Met-Top E: Emery Aggregate Topping

  • Typical Thickness:  2 inches (50.8 mm) to 6 inches (152 mm)
  • Compressive Strength: 13,000 psi (90 MPa)
    • ASTM C 109, 2 inch (50 mm) cubes
  • Flexural Strength: 1,300 psi (9.0 MPa)
    • ASTM C 78 at 28 Days
  • Wear Resistance: 0.024 inch (0.61 mm)
    • ASTM C 779, Procedure A at 60 minutes
  • Excellent resistance to dragging and scraping.
  • Emery aggregate is one of the hardest natural minerals in the world with a Mohs hardness rating of 9 out of 10.

Metalcrete: Metallic Aggregate Topping

  • Typical Thickness:  2 inches (50.8 mm) to 6 inches (152 mm)
  • Compressive Strength: 12,000 psi (83 MPa)
    • ASTM C 109, 2 inch (50 mm) cubes
  • Flexural Strength: 1,875 psi (13 MPa)
    • ASTM C 78 at 28 Days
  • Wear Resistance: 0.012 inch (0.30 mm)
    • ASTM C 779, Procedure A at 60 minutes
  • Provides exceptional protective armoring.
  • Formulated with specially graded iron aggregate, high-strength cement, and a proprietary chemical system.
